Asking Chrysobooks whether it is working.
The message at the top is not something we typed earlier and left there. This page asks Chrysobooks two questions the moment you open it, and again every minute: can your device reach us, and once it does, is Chrysobooks able to do the work. Asking both is what lets us tell you whose problem it is.
Even when this page says everything is working, one part of Chrysobooks can still be broken. The section above lists the parts we cannot check from here. If one of those goes wrong we write it in the log, and we name what is affected, because what you need to know is whether you can keep trading.
Every resolved entry states plainly what happened to your data. Books are not a chat window: if an interruption could have left a document half-written, you are told what to check rather than left to wonder.
We do not publish an uptime percentage yet. Doing so honestly means measuring from outside our own network for a meaningful stretch first. A number we cannot stand behind would be worth less than this page having none.
